Our stunning “Cortijo en el paraíso” is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of “La Alpujarra” in the Contraviesa which forms part of the Sierra Nevada, Granada provincia and boasts having 360 degree views including towards the magnificent “Mulhacen” which is the highest mountain in Spain at 3,479 Metres and offers excellent skiing in the adjoining areas.

The cortijo faces South East, rear North West, end terrace North East and has three separate terrace areas and is accessed by a 1.5  track from a tarmac road and just 15-20 mins from the local town of Cadiar with all facilities and an excellent Carrefour supermarket, plus fuel station and many bars of course… 🙂   Just 30-35 mins to the coast and the charming relaxed small beach resort of La Rabita.

The track has virtually zero traffic, in the region of maybe 2 to 10 cars a WEEK….. depending on harvest time. It is an extremely quiet and SAFE area with nearest neighbour around 1 Km. Totally at peace with nature and Springtime here is particularly stunning with the huge varieties of wild flowers following the fabulous flowering of the almond trees in Late December early January, the fragrance is absolutely wonderful….
